  • Sign On–Who Wants to See Manny Make History–Pacquiao could go for 7 in 7!

    Petitions are silly sometimes.(This one can be construed as silly to some) Sometimes they are great. They get our favorite politicians on the ballot. (Now does anybody really have a favorite politician)They also get important issues to the forefront. This is not a serious issue, or anything truly important in the grand schemes of society. But I am a big fan of boxing history. Heck I still have Ring Magazines from when I was a kid,(I am pretty young, one of those endangered 30 year old boxing fans) sitting dusty in my closet. I will take one out every now and then and read about great fighters from a past.

    I always wondered to myself. What would it have been like to see Henry Armstrong fight Barney Ross for Welterweight crown in the 1930’s. Now I don’t have to think about what was, I can now think about what could be.

    After an overwhelming response from my blog yesterday.

    I am now interested in knowing if anybody else is with me. I know there are other great matchups out there. But none present the history Pacquiao could get by fighting Mosley for the Welterweight Championship. It would be unbelieveable if Pacquiao could win this 7th title in his 7th weight class. It would no doubt cement him as one of the to 10 fighters of all time. (He is already an all time great)

    Also if you read my story yesterday you know, stylistically the Pacquiao-Mosley match-up would be special. Sign on if you want. I know it may seem corny and ****** to some. But how else can you tell promoters and managers you want to see a big fight. Link below.

    The Goal is 1,000 signatures. So forward it on to fight fans. If we reach it I will deliever this to Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions.

    Cotto, someone will finally be able to test Pacquiao's body. He's weak to body-shots....

      I voted for Mosley because he has the major title and the ring title. If there is a risk with Cotto, he might as well go for Mosley. At least Pac has advantage in stamina, and Mosley is old, a possible win if it goes the distance.

        I want him to face Floyd so it can decide greatest fighter of the era without a doubt.

          The WBC is considered the major title not WBA and he doesn't poses the Ring Title, it's vacant..

              honestly, i think unless he fights them at 147, the "titles" at stake are dubious, i felt this way when wright fought hopkins at 170 and he was still able to stake the title as if it mattered.

                  Ok, ok. Then I chose Mosley because of a 7th title and 5th lineal title, America will watch, PPV. And African-American racists will have nothing more to complain about. Only thing is, Shane being shot, past prime, but yet still P4P #5 and former P4P #1. Other fighters will fear Pacquiao if he beats Shane. His stock will rise, PBF will get 35-65 when the fight is through.

                    cant go wrong with mosley.

                    id rather see pac take on timothy bradley & defend at 140 then take on the winner of jmm vs fraud jr.

                    mosley can seriously wreck pac & the pac vs jmm/fraud jr fight.

                    But like the saying goes;

                    No guts, no glory.....
