I'm of the opinion, that while it's not ideal, but it can't be shielded. The child is going to see the fight, whether live or televised and still get the same feeling of sorrow. At least when it's live, the child(ren) can quickly run to their dad and see that they are all right.
Its reassuring if the kid is quickly consoled after the fact, live and in person as opposed to watching the 11th round beating and wondering if dad is ok.
I honestly don't see a problem with it too much. I think this has to do with his mental state honestly. Him bringing those kids again means that he is passed his lone defeat.
