    - he's never been knocked down in a fight
    - he's undefeated as a pro
    - he's won a world title at heavyweight
    - he's ranked #3 by the Ring at heavyweight
    - he has wins over three fighters ranked by The Ring as top 10 heavyweights at the time: Ruiz, Virchis and Valuev

    David Haye, in contrast:

    - was stopped by Odlanier Solis in the amateurs
    - never won Gold in a world amateur tournament
    - has been knocked down by super middleweight Lolenga Mock -
    - was stopped by age 41 Carl Thompson
    - has never won a world title at heavyweight
    - is not ranked in the top 5 heavyweights by Ring Magazine
    - has never defeated a top ten ranked heavyweight
    David Haye
-was undisputed Cruiserweight champion. "Undisputed" a word Wlad can't be associated wit.
-has a whole country supporting him, and those some die hard fans
-has arguably the most entertaining style of fighting at Heavyweight. No boring fights from him

I can understand why Wlad has chose to go ahead and fight Chagaev instead. I think it could be an interesting fght, Chagaev is no mug and is a decent opponent.

Obvoisly Haye is gutted that his big night has all but gone now but still it's been mentioned he could possibly take on Chris Arreola which would be a good fight worth watching and no doubt someone will end up KTFO. Im sure Wlad and Haye will meet again sometime if things go to plan.
I don't blame Wlad. Haye pulling out is such a buzz kill.

Haye was never undisputed as USS Cunnigham had the IBF belt.

Undisputed is not a word that can be associated with Haye.

          - Haye was never an "undisputed" champion. He ducked the IBF champion, slick Steve Cunningham.

Haye had only 2 title fights at cruiserweight, against the smaller, past-prime Mormeck and against the china-chinned bum Maccarinelli, who was KOed recently by the light-hitting Afolabi.

JC Gomez was a true cruiserweight champion - he had many successful title fights at 200.

          - Haye didn't sell out his last two fights at smaller venues in London.

          - I find Haye boring. His sloppy, dirty style of fighting, and his hitting his opponents when they're down and rabbit punching, is not fun to watch. He's a poor sport in and out of the ring.

B*ll****. Cunningham was so 'slick' he had nothing to say about Haye at all until after Haye had beaten Macca and announced that he was moving up to HW. Prior to that Cunningham wanted nothing to do with him.
