Just cancel my flight and hotel tickets but had to wait till monday to cancel my ring ticket, Am definitely not going to germany to see Wlad/chagaev.

Its a win-win situation for Wlad, They sold so many tickets because people thought they are going to see Haye fight, A Wlad/Chagaev fight wouldnt even do half of whats expected for the Haye fight.

Same, might as well go down there with friends and have a life and make the most of it... its still virtually a holiday anyway.

You're wrong about this. Only the UK fans wanted to see Haye.

In mainland Europe and especially in Germany, Wladimir-Chagaev is a much bigger fight.

Why is HBO pulling the plug on the fight now Haye is not involved then?

Not just UK fans, Has evident by the HBO withdrawing its backing for this fight even though you post an article to suggest HBO was backing the fight.

Not on a two weeks notice, Chagaev isnt a huge name even in Germany, Haye sold this fight to alot of people who hates him and want to see what Wlad could do against him.
