I think the shane that fought oscar in 2000 maybe beats the floyd now.

In what aspects? I think he's pretty well rounded and in tip top shape physically.

Floyd = EXCELLENT stamina, speed and defense. Decent power and can adapt to any style.

Floyd hasn't been outboxed. He has been pressured before but has victories against fighters who tried to pressure him. Zab had early success but Cotto is not fast enough nor a southpaw to try and replicate the same success.
thats your opinion i think he has a style to beat cotto his hand speed was matching with sugar shane in the fight so if cotto doesnt have fast enough hands neither does mosley. Second cotto is a pressure fighter but he does it smartly plus he can cut of the ring pretty good. Also to beat floyd you gotta have a good jab something oscar was having success with and stopped throwing it. Mosley doenst have all that of a jab i think cottos jab is better. I think hell give floyd hell.

Since when does cotto have crap stamina? You're probably one of those guys that say someone is overrated once they lose a fight. And floyd's toughest fight was a against not a fast fighter but a brawling, slower, pressurer, body punching castillo. You're just either a cotto hater or floyd lover if you think floyd easily beats cotto. Go watch the 1st castillo fight and shut up.

Cotto faded against both Shane and Margarito. In both fights he boxed alot more than he usually does and he gassed. A Floyd fight will be the biggest fight of his career and I assume he will fight a similar fight like those two. I'm a fan of both fighters I'm just stating facts, whether you like it or not/

BTW, watch the SECOND Floyd-Castillo and shut-up.

fight similar than in those 2? first margarito is a come forward no defense fighter mosleyh will box and brawl at times and was tryna brawl with cotto towards the beggining floyd would not fight anywhere near the way marg and mosley fought cotto cotto will be the aggresor the whole fight and floyd would be potshooting the whole fight.

No disrespect dawg, but Shane and Margarito both apply some sort of pressure, whether it's Mosley making Cotto fight for 12 rounds straight,or Margarito just coming forward firing away nonstop, floyd on the other hand just moves sideways and potshots,so without the big punches coming back at him,I dont see Cotto tiring against a floyd potshot fiasco!!

There you go. Think of fights where Floyd was pressured and he countered by pot-shotting and notice how those fights ended.
