he's a joke. mayweather would tax his ass and retire him. that's a fact.
i think you fail to recognize that Morales got spanked two times in a row after the first fight, and Pac knocked Marquez down 4 times, and won the 2nd match.

Mayweather lost to Castillo, and ran the whole De La Hoya fight. I guess that makes him great huh??

Pacquiao is a good fighter, but I think that JMM deserves the P4P top spot.

Ever since Pac almost lost to JMM and should have lost IMO, Roach and co have been very cleverly chosing opponents who they know Pacquiao can beat, either through tailor made styles or by beating them on the scales.

JMM was robbed of a victory over Pac and has been fighting the best that they can put in front of him and beating them in impressive fashion. And now he's going to face Floyd at 144, whereas Manny won't face any welterweights unless they're at 142 and dead. JMM is the true P4P #1 IMO.

Morales had already lost to Zahir Raheem and looked **** before Manny beat him 2x. Manny lost when Morales was closer to his prime.

Many people knock down Marquez in fights, it's not hard to do. It also doesn't change the fact that Marquez won the majority of the rounds they fought.

Floyd fought against DLH who must have been around 15lbs heavier than him on the night, and as Floyd keeps saying Oscar made him fight with "pillows". He may have had to be elusive on the night, but he still won didn't he? And against a much, much better version of Oscar than Manny fought.

as far as the topic of this thread.

manny is playing with house money.

his legacy , atg and hof status is set.

he could lose to cotto , mosley AND mayweather , 3 losses in a row and he'd probably still be ranked higher than any of those 3.

we're talking about a guy who is a natural featherweight winning titles in 6 divisions , 4 of them lineal.

he then goes on and takes on the #1 AND #2 welterweights in the world and the former #1 p4p fighter and former lineal champ at 147.

who the hell cares if he losses? he's not suppose to win!

a loss by manny to cotto , mosley or may is worth more than a win over paulie malignaggi , luis collazo or sharmba mitchell.

think of it this way......the fights with pryor hurt arguello's legacy? the fight with hagler hurt duran? the fights with louis hurt conn?

nope. manny can lose 10 times this year at 147 and it wouldn't hurt his legacy.
