    Berto

was watchin his fight before against Urango and was disapointed in his performence yet again. I think soon as he gets in the ring with a boxer with boxing ability and power he will get knocked out.

sorry but an average fighter who won't last long.

I know he is an American hype job but serious his last 2 fights have not convinced me at all.

    sorry for the rant

Berto gotta beat Collazo clearly in a rematch before I'd say he can even compete wit the top dogs. I'm still surprised SSM didn't take the unification fight and **** him for his belt.

American hype job? This board was heavily critical of him and that includes many Yank posters like myself. I don't know if you are being serious but there is no hype on this forum or any where else except from Max Kellerman and Lennox Lewis.

I'm suprised other fighters ain't called him out for a title shot. once he steps up his class he will get beat and schooled.

He had an off night and still won by a large margin. I think that as the opposition gets tougher, he will become better and better. People want to act like Urango is a nobody, he's a tough and durable fighter who has never been hurt before. It was a good test for Berto.

Collazo is a different story, he was a big test. Berto gave it his all and won a close fight. Keep in mind that he's only 25 years old. I'm sure his next opponent will be a step further to fighting the elites like Mayweather, Mosley, Cotto. Give him at least two more fights.

the is huge difference in fans on a forum and reporters hypin a fighter. it is known that american reporters hype American boxers that aint has great as they make out, fans of the sport normally get it spot on about a fighter. it might be sellin a fight with commentators and other people in the sport but the man is seriously over-rated.

huge difference from forums and so called experts in the game with a mouth.

IMO he only just won the Collazo fight but against Urango he was gettin clipped to easy for my concern. once he fights a man with boxing ability and power he will be gettin hattone'd

Tell who are these so called American boxing experts that claim Berto is the second coming of Ray Robinson? Other than Max Kellerman and Lewis?
You don't think the British media hypes up it's fighters? You can point the finger at Kellerman and I can do the same to Bunce. He makes Max seem fair and balanced in his opinions. Be serious for a second instead of irrational. All nations hype up their fighters.
