They've both fought tough fights in there respective divisions. The only thing that seprates them both is that Manny is jack of trades. He's fought and won titles at 6 driffrent weight divisons (Only two fighters in the history of boxing have done this). To think that he started his career at fly weight, and now is competeing at weights as high as WW is a hellva accompishment inself (fact that he's being mention in the same breath as Hagler is incredible), which shows how far he's come as fighter. In each in everyone of his last 3 fights he's looked better more improved. The way he's beating these fighters have been no joke either. He's fought JMM, MAB, Erik Morales, Ricky Hatton, and Oscar Del Hoya. These are all Hall fame calbier fighters, and he beat all of them.

Then you Marvin Hagler: One of the best if not thy best Middle weight champions of all time who absolutely ruled the middle weight division for years. It took him sometime before he was finally able to get his shot at the title where he had ups and downs having to travel other fighters hometowns to get fights... Make no mistake though he dominated his oppsition like no other...most of his wins are by KO or TKO. Plus Haglers opppents where equally as good as Manny's, so it's tough to say who clearly is the best south paw out of the 2. All I know is Leonard, Hearns, and Duran are ranked high on the all timelist of all-time greats, and although Hatton, MAB, JMM, Morales, and De la hoya are great fighters, I just don't think they compare to the likes of Hearns, Leonard or Duran. So at this very moment, I have to give it to Marvin Hagler. Although Pacquiao has a chance to surpass Hagler if he keeps up his mytical run and defeats oppents like Cotto, Mosely, and Mayweather in the near future.... It's possible he could surpass Hagler.

Very good point, the story is still running on him. I echo what someone else said lets enjoy him now he is a great fighter. Hagler followed by Whitaker at the moment but nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see pacman eclipse them both as it will be good for boxing.
