Did you see how many people were at that arena? I mean even Mayweather doesn't draw as much as that fight did in attendance, and with the excitement of that fight, no wonder people were standing up all the time. Now I now why Mayweather decided to battle it out with Baldomir, he really did draw.

Clottey was not known at the time. I guess Baldomir was the draw if he got that BS call.

after seeing that fight I have to say I see Cotto dominating this fight! I was really surprised to see Baldomir hurt Clottey around round 8, I think. seemed like he needed a couple rounds to get his legs back under him and I saw being more effective throughout squeaking that fight out if not for the stoppage. Interesting how he reacted at the end of that fight, no emotion almost an expression of acceptance. Clottey did look as if he was purposefully going in with his head many times on tape so imagine what it looked like in person.

With Baldomir turning away and clinching it was diffucult to call the fight. The CLottey no emotion bothered me. If you are going to DQ someone with less than 4 minutes left in the fight it should be more of a blatant foul. If Clottey gets deducted another point he still wins the fight. I wonder what the attendence was less than 2,000 people my estimation

But when you warn a fighter for using his head and using it for a weapon to cut and injure your opponent, the ref has to do something, I would hate to have The Great Gazoo head butting me, that dude has a very hard head.

This fight happened 10 years ago, And was only an undercard fight thats why the arena was empty, the main event was Billy schwer (British fighter) against stevie johntson who was best remembered for his battles with Castillo.

                  The arena was full afterwards...........
