a couple of more reasons I'm going ricky:

    1) he beat an elite fighter- tszyu. Zab never really did (spinks elite but feather fisted).
    2) dlh and zab had been blasted out previously, badly
    3) beat mayorga for his belt but was worked by bhop and beaten by sturm. His face was sturms speed bag. Dlh was ripe for the picking.
    4) zab coming off loss.

Do you think the Hatton who fought Floyd would beat the Zab who fought Floyd? I don't...

          Ndou- 135? NWho?
Corley- 140 Destroyed by Cotto went the distance with Floyd
Brusseles (obviously not)- 140 Is this a part of a sandwhich?
          Gatti- 140 Old Shot
          Sharmba- 147 ShamBro? lol
Zab- 147 Mental midget Destroyed by Cotto, went the distance with Floyd
Baldo- 147 Old, no business being champ
Oscar 154 Old, drag queen, shot. Destoryed by Pacman, but went the distance with Floyd
Ricky- 147 Floyd hugged him for 10 rounds and Manny nearly knocked him out in one. Did not last two round with Manny Pacquiao

I would say Ricky because it was a convincing win over a prime fighter. Ricky has gone on to prove that he was overrated, but Floyd definitely got the KTFO and handled Ricky pretty easily.

Was it at Ricky's best weight? No. But Ricky was stepping up in weight to challenge Floyd. And please no discussion about the ref winning if for Floyd.

Gatti- 140 Old Shot, even Alfonso Gomez destroyed him. Gatti had been destroyed by ODLH 10 years ago

This resume is not that of a pound fo pound king. This is the resume of a cherry picker.

Good question. I'm not sure, at 147 I think one of two things happens. 1) zab blasts him out in under 4. 2) ricky mauls and wears him out, he loses focus and gets tkod in 10.

Back then, I don't think zab had proved his toughness like he did when cotto destroyed him but he fought back like a true warrior. I still think zab was too fragile mentally.

Regardless of what you or I personally believe, this is a thread to discuss the resume, not to compare it. Listen, Sosa lost to spaddy long before and was way older when he fought cotto. All of that has been argued too much here. No comparisons to other fighters. Which of those do you think was his best win? One has to be the best.

Very little response, especially from floyd fans and haters. Maybe I should say something more inflammatory. Thanks for answering sigma, sg, 5 *, and courtdawg (who I know would rep).
