For the record, I like both fighters.

Let me put it this way. If Kirkland got lucky and was out after 5 months or so, still missed these two dates and had to restart over, and Angulo HAS to restart over, which would be easier to come back from and make it as big as their promoters had hoped?
of course the man in jail will have a harder time than a free man training...why is he a dumbass???you dont know what kinda troubles he had..id rather be caught with it than without it

To an extent, you're right. Lemme change the topic a bit.

Well, he got caught with it and lost a couple hundred dollars.

So, as your man Floyd would say, 'It didn't make dollars, it don't make sense.'

Sounds.... like a dumbass move to me.

I believe Angulo was just too green to face Cintron, he needs a lot of improvements, but again, remember guys he is still a prospect, Kirkland is too still a prospect, but has a tad more experience then Angulo in the ring (was hurt in a few fights and actually came back, Angulo was just outbox, it happens) but to answer your question, Kirkland, just because he is in jail, Angulo could come back.

Lol. It's cool, man. I've had family in prison. They were dumbasses, too. Doesn't mean I didn't appreciate them.

It's worse for Kirkland because it doesn't appear like he'll be leaving prison anytime soon. Angulo can return to the gym shortly and take another fight. Angulo should be able to build on this loss, (heard he was sick in this fight) and come back stronger. I feel awful about Kirkland. I think he would have ran through Cintron, Angulo and even PWILL. Now we may never see it.

kirkland has a better future in boxing than does the limited mexican brawler angulo, there for kirkland's loss was far greater.
