it would actually be interesting to see.

the idea of watching Adamek-klitschko to me is much more exciting than the prospect of him meeting Chagaev.

Yes Adamek is too small but people bring the weight issue too many times, and it has been proven before that weight is not as big of a problem as people make it.

you strip James Toney out of his fat suit and he's a light heavy. Chris Arreola is a fat cruiserweight, so is Eddi Chambers. What about Ibragimov?

At least Adamek looks like the type of guy who will have a muscular physique even if it's 10lbs above cruiser.

What a joke, "I'll fight Haye the smaller guy and Adamek, another small guy"

I don't know Klit fans, sounds like your boy is joining the Mayweather ranks.

ditto... there are plenty of fat obese tune ups at HW, why pick on a CW?

              • After David Haye fell out a June 20 heavyweight title fight with Wladimir Klitschko, the hunt was on for a potential replacement since Klitschko still intends to fight somebody. Shelly Finkel, Klitschko's adviser, called Main Events' Kathy Duva on Wednesday to gauge the interest of cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek stepping in on short notice if Finkel consulted with their side and had interest in the fight. Finkel's call came, ironically, just as Duva and Adamek were about to begin a news conference to formally announce Adamek's July 11 defense against Bobby Gunn. "The call came a bit late," Duva told ESPN.com. "But I said, 'Well, I guess I need to tell Tomasz about this,' so I told him. He was smiling but we had to tell him we were serious. He said not on two weeks' notice. It was just funny because we were literally walking up to the dais when I got the call. He said maybe someday because someday he'd like to move to heavyweight. I took the interest to be a wonderful thing. If the opportunity comes now, it will come again."

Interesting...but not surprising that Klitschko would try to pick on the smaller, high profile fighter. Sounds familiar.
lol wtf? Haye is an actual HW that took over the CW division while Adamek started his career as a LHW and moved up to CW. AND haye fought a couple of fights at the HW level while Adamek hasn't AND haye is way more popular than Adamek but yet Wlad gave Haye such a hard time to sign the fight yet he is very willing to fight Adamek right now, no hesitation.

man, I'm starting to hate wlad more and more everyday.

They must be having a laugh. Adamek was a LHW not long ago. He's a great fighter, but he's no RJJ and even RJJ wouldn't have taken Wlad IMHO. What's next - Wlad's team get on the phone to Joe Calzaghe?

Anyone else smell desperation here? Wouldn't surprise me if Haye got his 3 week postponement after all.

adamek is way too small for Wlad. there are plenty of *****y HWs for Wlad to fight, dunno why he's picking on adamek.
