Funny, I made this thread but I'm torn. I really want to see the Haye fight but I can't blame him for not wanting to just wait around.

If tv-dates and venue is as easily available then postpone 3 weeks. From Wlads perspective it be better to fight Haye for the following reasons:

1: Haye is probably worse injured than most people think. If the injury was insignificant he wouldn't reveal it. A mere 3 weeks to heal from a backinjury sounds like a short time to me so Haye will likely not be as mobile as he could have been. This is Haye's dream and he risks never getting the chance again so I think the 3 week delay is the absolute minimum rehab he dared ask for.

2: Chagaev is a southpaw and Wlad has prepared for an orthodox fighter. Chagaev is in great shape and will never have a better chance of beating Wlad than this June.

Hence, wouldn't it just end up like the Ibragimov swat-fest all over again? Chags looked utterly **** against Drumond (and would most likely have lost in the end, had it not been for the bull**** cut stoppage), so how in the blue hell would he have even a puncher's chance against the champ?
