Wow, that's a lot of ignorance jammed into one paragraph. Surely you realize that Russia and Poland are entirely different countries, right?

Yes I know That Russia and Poland are two different countries, I kinda just lump all these guys in the same catergory, boring, except for Golota there all boring.I don't need to see the same guys year after year Chagaev,Ibragov(Whatever),Valuev. Boxing is probably 80 percent sport and 20 percent entertainment, there is nothing fun about watching any of those guys, like Dawson a few weeks ago, boring. At least Haye brought something different to the table. He actually spoke. The Klit brothers aren't brutal to watch but usually their opponents are.

RTL as well would show Wlad-Chagaev on the 20th, and prefer this over a July 11 telecast.

Apparently Setanta is still set to go for June 20, but are unable to approve a July 11 telecast.

Looks like you were wrong pal.

You claimed HBO Approved a Wlad-Chagaev fight but according to everyone else HBO is only interested in a Wlad-Haye fight and are not going to show the now scheduled Chagaev fight.

Or is this more rumour mongering ?

          .

Troy said HBO approved Chagaev in this article:

            http://www.boxingscene.com/index.php?m=show&id=20264

I was wrong, but I was following sources like this boxingscene article which are usually reliable.

Like I said, I only trust real sources. There is too many folk on here who jump on the first rumour, making threads and spreading their version of the truth.

I am still not convinced of all this, I'll wait until I see an official K2 promotions statement / video.

Some folk on here need to calm down, there is just way too many threads popping up every hour with one so called truth after the other.

Lets see it official and hope either way that the original Haye Vs Wlad fight happens at some point.

Good news. I heard the fight itself was denied... if it's just the date, they can work around that.

I hope they do June 20th, since both have been training for a fight around that time anyway.

                  HBO did not approve Chagaev.

Wlad will be fighting Chagaev on June 20th and it will probably end up on another American network.

HBO rejected the most significant heavyweight fight in years.

                  They'll approve Berto-Urango and Dawson-Tarver 2. Wonder why?

Too many similarities to the Klitschko-Ibragimov fiasco I think.

I don't get it though, because it is a unification of 3 heavyweight belts.

The other good news is this means Valuev either gives up his belt in the near future or fights and dies against Klitschko. If Vitali would just retire and Wlad could beat the new WBC champ... that would be a dream come true.

Tyson Fury will be Wlad's last fight.
