In summary (for those who dont wanna read): Its just saying that megafights usually sell out hours after the tickets go on sale and this fight isnt as big as GBP and MP expected according to slow ticket sales.

Well so far, by the looks of things, Floyd is in demand.

In fact, he was in demand while he was retired.

Secondly, HBO and Golden Boy Promotions has not fully unleashed its marketing campaign for the bout, in part, I think, so as not to take away from the June 13 Cotto-Clottey match. (I could be wrong)

Once the Cotto - Clottey clash is over, and hopefully it's a really good scrap, the fans and people will be clamouring for Mayweather - Marquez matchup.

The numbers should shoot up once Pretty Boy turns on the boastful charm and JuanMa pulls down his shorts to moon the camera.

Mayweather needs to stop being humble and go back to being the guy people love to hate. As for the article, it was biased, Gatti vs Mayweather sold well because Mayweather NOT Gatti, Mayweather hyped up that fight, against Zab (Zabs 1st PPV) he did 375K and against Baldomir a No Namer, he did 325K. What did Pacquiao do against a No Namer (Diaz)?...200K

Mayweather is a draw, problem here is that JMM vs Mayweather didn't get enough promotional time, they threw this one out too fast, reason why I've said it'll do 550K or 600K which would be a sucess.

This guy sounds like a hater...

He comes off like he wants the PPV to fail.

How would that help the sport that you just spent 2 hours writting this worthless article about.

            crab in a bucket...

This is why will never make it to it's former popularity...Cumsocks like this guy tear it down from the inside.

I hope the PPV bout is successful in every way.

Mayweather is a big name in boxing, but is only a fairly big name in sports.

People know who he is but arent willing to spend 50 dollars to watch him fight a no name to casual fans
