    American fans

Why is it when a British fighters loses for the first time he should retire? yet, we have fighters like Zab and Roy Jones fightin on past their prime. nothin gets mentioned?

I have always wonderd this, why don't American fighters get told to call it a day?

This is not a hate thread, happen to be fans of both fighters. think it is a fair question to be honest.

They could be wheeling Judah out to the ring in his wheel chair when he is 60+ and the American fans will still think he is capable of winning a world title again.

its more than just Americans that said Hatton should retire.

which is dumb to me anyway. Oh, Hatton lost to two of the best fighters of the last few years. how embarressing, he should retire.
              wtf?

Hatton has a while to go, imo. should fight Ortiz after Ortiz fights Maidana.

and I dont think Zab should retire yet...Jones is just an embarressment now, I would kind of prefer if he retired a year or two ago.

no way, man. i've been saying it for awhile now. i don't care if zab is at 154, 147, or 140. he's done at the highest level. the idea that zab will magically regain whatever he has lost by going back down to 140 is ridiculous.

                  j/k

You know how it is though some people are delusional when it comes to Zab just because he has skills

Judah aint a top level fighter anymore, but that doesnt mean he should retire yet.

last time I checked, he busted up Cotto pretty well(If only for 2 rounds), and gave Clottey a decent fight.

his time is running out quick, but hes still a meaningful name, and at least has a little left even if hes fallen off a decent amount.
