Why do some guys have so much ability so soon?

When you watch Pernell Whitaker from like his 7/8 pro fight it makes you think straight away, that this kid could fight and win a world title now, he was that good even THEN.

Same story with Holyfield. Qawi was a tough SOB who beat the hell out of Saad Muhammad 2x, admittedly Saad was past it but still...

Qawi went 15 with Michael Spinks, albeit he was completely outboxed, but the point is he (Qawi) was a good fighter imo, and Holyfield managed to beat him in only his 12th fight.

I think Mayweather could of won a world title after about 7/8 fights, he was that good that early.

When i watch amateur fights of DLH when he was 17 he looks/fights like a pro fighter.

I dont get it why do some guys have so much ability so soon?

Having natural ability these days are rare. You have to have like 1,000 amateur fights to sometimes have it.

I think it has alot to do with talent but also experience against styles. I mean Hopkins wouldn't have won a title early in his career because his style hadn't evolved he hadn't been brought up against the right styles in his early pro career even though he had the talent.

Lara, Gamboa, Rigondeaux all guys I think could do it. Although it might be to do with the huge amount of am experience they had. They are very polished fighters.
