I thought 147 was the ww division. Truth, that he is fresh out of retirement but JMM cmon. The guy is to small and Floyd is the former p4p #1. If he fought any ww for his tuneup that would of been better.

It's a step back because he beat marg, the man who beat cotto.
Look. Mosley has made a career fighting men no one else would. The hot prospects who were ducked, mosley was the guy to fight them.

Win or lose, he's made a career of taking the fights no one else would, often times being the much smaller man too (Lol, mosley at 154 was funny to watch). If anyone deserves a big
pay day, it's shane.

PBF and Pacman are those pay days. At least Shane fought a Prime Winky WRight, A Young Miguel Cotto, a feared Collazo (everyone got scared after he did what he did to hatton), a up and coming and fearsome Vernon Forrest (who was far too big) the list goes on.

I'd like to see PBF do that. Give shane his damn pay day. He deserves it more than ANYONE in the sport today.

fight isnt at 147..its at a catchweight of 144..jmm was moving up to 140 anyway to chase pacman..and he's fightibng jmm clearly as a barganiig chip with pacman..just like pacmans last 2 fights have been with 2 former floyd opponents

Pac beats dela hoya, then goes to 140 and looks ****ing amazing at 140 beating a guy who has never been beat there and n1 guy there for years in 2rounds. Marquez pulls of some great late ko's but does not look great at 135 looking slow and being hit alot.

There is a big difference, but i got np with Money facing Marquez anyway, should be a good fight. Mosley is my man but looking a bit desperate, but this is understandable given his age and divorce crap. Saying Cotto is a step back is silly tho, after Pac, Mayweather aint a bigger fight out there, specially if Cotto look good vs Clottey.

Personally i'd like to see Mosley vs Mayweather winner > Pacman vs Cotto or something. But please don't give me **** about Mosley ducking Williams everyone does in the WW division except Margacheatto and that was a close fight... But Williams is a bit of a freak skills, Huge height i have no idea how he gets down to that weight. Low risk for little reward aint no one touching him at WW i think, unless they really have to.

Another thing I don't understand is why a FLOYD fan would try and ask why shane won't fight Cotto... at least he DID fight cotto, something floyd didn't do and probably won't.

Also.. he's challenging floyd. So do floyd fans think cotto is a tougher fight than their beloved floyd? If not, then You'd agree Shane was asking for the toughest possible fight he can get (again) by wanting PBF as well.

The truth is, Shane does have the best claim to being the champ at 147. I thought he beat Cotto because of his aggressiveness and advantage in power punch connect percentage at the end of the fight. He also did something your hero always shied away from doing. And that's destroy Antonio Margarito. That alone is why he feels like he shouldn't have to be bowing down to everybody else, regardless of how overrated Margarito may have been.
