The Klitschko-Effect? Is it possible that the reason the Heavyweight division looks so awful is simply b/c the Klitschko Brothers are so much better? and not because the Heavy Weight division lacks talent? It's possible that other heavyweights look so terrible because they've either been ruined by Klits in the ring or because their abilities pale in comparison to the larger more talented Klits. Whereas in other Heavyweight eras, this same crop of HW fighters who are dismissed today as miserable would actually be very competitive. Also, possibly because the larger size of recent Heavyweights results in less action which might strike the naked eye as a lack of ability? I don't necessarily believe there is a Klitschko-Effect or that an increased size in Heavyweights is really the reason the Heavyweight division is viewed as untalented but I think it is definitely a possibility. What does everyone think? Poll to follow! (I realize I'm going out on a limb but it's slow at work today so humor me!)
