before circa 2005 the haters mantra was that floyd didn't fight the best fighters at 140, regardless of circumstances (the Duck by ricky and kosta retiring).
we now find ourselves circa 2009 where floyd has beaten the best fighter at 140, 154, and 147 at the time they were highly ranked
now it's easy to go back and say ricky was not that good at 147, or oscar was old, or judah and baldomir weren't the best welterweights, but the fact remains floyd defeated one former and two current ring champions in the span of 1 year 2006-2007 and those ring champions were from 140-154.
so now we have the haters singing a different tune and saying well since floyd has defeated all of the ring champions in and around his weightclass
he needs to take a risk
now I have surmised that this means floyd needs to fight a fighter at either 154 or 147 who would outweigh him by 15lbs on fight night. since oscar came close to beating floyd in their psychotic minds they figure floyd would most surely lose to a fighter bigger than himself.
doesn't matter if said fighter is not considered the best it only matters that they can outweigh floyd on fight night by 15lbs hence making the fight a "real risk: in their eyes. hence the downplay of marquez being a legitimate opponent eventhough he is on of the best fighters out there the haters see marquez as not having enogh of an advantage over floyd to make the contest interesting.
the new mantra of the haters will apply to pac as well as they don't see pac as having advantages over floyd to make the fight risky enough for floyd.
so out with fighting the best fighters and now floyd must fight the riskiest fights available which means being at a disadvantage on fight night.
like the jordan rules in the NBA desighned to stop michael jordan the mayweather rules are designerd to feed the pyschosis of the haters of floyd who see their chance of floyd being defeated slipping away. which in the end is all they really want no matter how illogical or irrational they come across, that is what hate does it voids the mind
