  • Klitschko vs. Chagaev For 6/20, Or Haye For 7/11

IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is mulling his options. David Haye, due to a back injury, withdrew from their June 20th bout on Wednesday. Two options are now on the table and the champions has yet to make a decision. He will either meet undefeated Ruslan Chagaev on the same June date, or wait for the Haye bout on July 11. [details]

He should fight Haye in July. Forget the politics and finish what was started.

a Chagaev Fight is worth more.. A legitimate Heavyweight ..Who is undefeated and can make a claim to being a Champ.. as he has not lost his belt in the ring..

I believe Haye is having 2nd thoughts anyway

I think Haye may be having second thoughts as well but I still want to see the fight if it can be made. Do it, Wlad!

I'd still like some proof of this 'injury' if I was Wlad. A bad back is a cop out for something else I reckon.

Haye means a lot of money, a lot of viewers, and finally, some excitement in the heavyweight division.

Wlad should take the Haye fight. 3 weeks! That's all it is! It would be ****** to kill the buzz on the biggest HW fight since Lewis-Tyson for the sake of a 21 day delay.

It's fake. Haye became nervous after being knocked out by Meehan in sparring.

It take longer than three weeks for a back injury to heal.

Wlad should move on to Chagaev, who won a heavyweight title...let Haye earn his title shot.

I'd rather see him fight Haye, but I almost don't want to give Haye the shot anymore.
