But that's a cultural thing. In Germany, that doesn't sell as well. You don't know how they'd act if they had to sell tickets in a much more diverse country like America. America has a lot more going on, especially in terms of boxing. Sometimes, you have to do the extreme to sell tickets here.

It'd be good for a fight. But after that, you'd just have another boxing family that doesn't get along. Not too good at all.

Yes it's a great contrast. They do their talking in the ring.

would it generate some attention to the heavies and bring back some life to this dead division?

I always believe to bring back to life a dead division their should be one undisputed champion...

Well, you can look at it one of two ways. If you want just ONE heavyweight champion, and most do, then it'd be a CLEAR way to get rid of one of the guys that rule. Provided there is no draw.

However, another way to look at it is that they are the best fighters in the division. And if they don't fight each other, then you need someone to beat both. So, you wont get another 'Hasim Rachman' champion. If someone beats Vitali or Wladimir, they have to go through the other guy. They need to pass TWO tests to be recognized as the king. Which, in a way, almost makes it more fun to watch.

It gets boring when you realize that there doesn't seem to be any clear indication of anyone in the top 10 that would be able to do that.

But yes, especially if held in Germany, this fight would generate A LOT of money.
