I would fight Wlad for about 10 times less than Haye will be making out of the fight and I would get hurt more and I'd look much worse and I'd be laid out considerably quicker.

first hand now back? And they are saying they hope it can be rescheduled within 3 to 4 weeks? Haye has talked way too much shyt for this. That is the one thing I do like about the Klitschko's are gentlemen, Wlad is not dogging Haye like Haye would dog him if he pulled out so close to the fight. (Respect there) but i just do not think haye has the size to get inside and tap that chin. Klitschko is damn near defense first. Has one of the best jabs in the game, which will set up thatt steelhammer right following one of those laser jabs. I would love for Haye to pull it off, but Klit is smart, he is a winner (Gold medal, etc, etc..) the boxers he's lost to all where huge under dogs - lose focus for one sec in the heavyweight division, and its lights out - Wlad aint losing focus for Haye - thats dangerous.Comment

Booth's original email to Boente didn't state the nature of the injury. It was nothing more than press speculation that it was a hand injury: that did not come from the Haye camp. When the Haye camp went public they stated that it was a back injury. The injury has to be validated as genuine by the British Boxing Board of Control, so he can't fake it.
If the fight falls through because Wlad decides to fight Chagaev on June 20 rather than take the risk of waiting until July 11, which would be understandable, and looks likely, then Setanta, Haye's main financial backer, stands to lose millions of pounds (as does Haye himself), which could help make them bankrupt, as they're already struggling financially. The idea that Haye would fake an injury when the financial stakes are so high is just ridiculous.Last edited by Dave Rado; 06-04-2009, 12:02 PM.Comment

It really doesn't look good when you're talking all that **** then you have to pull out. I'm pretty sure that is a legitmate injury thou.
I doubt if david got 'cold feet'. But, even if the injury was faked I think it may be down his training not going as well as he'd have liked. Rather than him being scared!Comment

Another who speaks plain, basic, common sense. What a ridiculous bunch of moronic fanboys so many of you are. Take this simple fact on board...injuries happen. Particularly in the run up to a fight when you are pushing yourself to the limit every day and your body is like a tightly coiled spring. I'm sure that Haye is more worried about missing out on MILLIONS of pounds and the biggest payday of his entire career than he is worried about the prospect of taking a punch to the head that knocks him out for a few seconds.
Green k for you.Comment
