Pretty shady move by the WBC. Everyone knows these guys dont want to fight each other unless it becomes a super fight, its not right to try and force them into it.
Its also not going to happen, this might be a move to avoid giving either of them a title shot.

        Dirrell punches harder than Miranda.

uh why, it's a business and considering Ward + Dirrell's current standings in the division, baring a major injury or division jump to either they'll most likely meet, so what makes it a "shady" move by the WBC?

and if it doesn't happen (Dirrell vs Ward )who will Ward fight, cuz before facing Miranda, I thought it was agreed on that the Ward/Miranda winner would be the unofficial WBC mandatory and get to fight for the belt.

About ****ing time. Too many prospects to try and follow...they need to make all these elimination fights instead of building these guys up for so damn long.

Angulo/Kirkland (yea im aware that this situation has already been resolved, but Kirkland in those interviews saying he wants to "let this fight build up for a while before making it" used to piss me off, badly.)

                Johnson/Arreola/Chambers/Victor Ortiz/D Hopkins/Berto/Lee/Green/Ward/Dirrell/etc/etc/etc.

Too many prospects/paper champs (coughberto ) fighting cab drivers.

Ward/Dirrell is a step in the right direction, let guys fight other prospects to build fan bases, not build fan bases to fight other prospects. I can't wait.

There is not a lot of money at 168...it would be better to create a BUZZ than to squander it all NOW.

I don't see how people can't see that.

There are a ton of guys at 168 that should be forced to fight somebody...WHY PICK ON DIRRELL AND WARD.??

That's the problem people have with this.

Kessler can fight guys they pull from the audience, and Bute can beat-up gypsy day laborers in Romania...but they want to get all tough on Ward and Dirrell.

                    That's dumb.

It's better for them to build a buzz than fight now.

Ward and Dirrell have just about all the 'buzz' they have earned thus far in their careers, which is a considerable amount. A superfight should not involve 2 prospects.

Eliminators are the best hope for boxing now. Let prospects earn their spots, and then order the champions to fight them. Where exactly is the problem?
