    Calzaghe retires.

Hatton gets absolutely decimated and exposed. It becomes an embarrassment of gargantuan proportions to the UK and the Hatton fans.

Haye writes checks with his mouth, and we find out his ass couldn't cash them. He was their last hope. And boy, what a longshot of a hope he was. Him backing out today was the proverbial nail in the coffin...

    My condolences...

Now I know some of you might come in here saying you still have your 2nd stringers, Froch and Khan, but are you REALLY confident in them two? No. You're not.

In fact, I know you know in your heart of hearts, deep in the middle of all your nationalistic bias and blindness, that they are both destined to fail...

I'm thinking it will take at least 10 years for british boxing to rise from the grave again...
il have you know as a brit, being a fan isnt just about supporting your fighter when he wins but also when he loses. so your comments about hatton being embarressing to the UK is far fetched. sure he took a good beating, but so what, the brits still represented in their tens of thousands in a foreign country and las vegas loves the brits.

We have Froch, who won against Taylor because Taylor can only fight 11 rounds. Lets be honest, hes odds on to lose his next fight.

Then we have Khan, who is a great fighter, as long as he isnt hit, kinda defeats the object of boxing right?

Next is Haye, is he good enough to beat Wlad when they eventually meet? No he isnt not even close.

who else is there? Jennings lol, guys like woods who already proved they dont have it at the top level.

Lets face it there is SO MUCH HYPE around british fighters and VERY little return. its like our cricket and football teams and it ****ing sickens me!
What are you talking about ..... how the *** are our football teams overrated or hyped...when we clearly have the best league in the world...

Wow Barca beat united 2-0, ye barca played good, but united didnt even show up it was 1/5th of the team....look what happened wiv chelsea in the semis barca were lucky as **** 2 get thru, if it was a different ref the game would of been done n dusted in chelseas favor....

Last 2 champions league semi finals ... 2009Arsenal vs United, Chelsea vs Barca

2008 United vs Barca, Chelsea vs Liverpool

2008 Champs league final United vs Chelsea

Yes our football is defo overrated....

Two young Brits impress me: Nathan Cleverly and Tyson Fury.

The Brits may overhype some mediocre fighters like Haye and Khan, but they have also had some really great ones like Joe Calzaghe.
But isn't Joe Calzaghe a coward for pulling out so many fights he'd made Vitali Klitschko look like a 2 fights a month brawler?
