Marquez is putting on muscle JUST to make the 143 limit. They're not weighing these guys when the enter the ring. When Pac and Marquez fought, both came in roughly 142-144 lbs fight night, but they MADE 130lbs. Floyd will walk in around 147-149 fight night with Marquez more than likely going to 143-144. But tell me here who's REALLY got the advantage when Floyd is steady at that weight anyway?

Pacquiao progressed the same, but what you also have to keep in mind is Pacquiao is younger and in much better shape physically as he's proven to climb up and down in weight and STILL be able to take his speed and power with him. Has that been proven yet with Marquez? Nope, but Floyd KNOWS that.

Think about it, if Shane isn't any type of threat AND he's holding Floyd's former crown, why wouldn't Floyd fight Mosley from the jump? Is Shane that much of a threat? So what they made 130, does it change the fact that Pacman was 146 fight night. JMM was fighting a WW. JMM walks heavier than 147, so weight shouldn't be a issue at all. JMM could come in at 142 and Floyd could come in 146. Wouldn't make such a difference. The difference is fight night. What is the point of Floyd shedding down to 140, then just ballooning back up to 147. The health risk is not worth it. The small weight difference will be canceled out by Floyd long lay off.

JMM has proven moving up isn't a problem. Two KO wins over bigger guys, doesn't matter how he looked. He knocked these ass out
