I think we should wait until Haye makes a statement himself or some evidence of his injuries or lack of comes out.

This is ******, fighters get injured all the time. Haye talked a lot so people assume he's bitching out because they don't like him or they don't think he think he can back up what he said.

Why would he train for weeks, put all this effort into promoting the fight etc, only to intentionally fake an injury and pull out of the fight. Why sign to fight in the first place?? He wants to go ahead with it but has simply picked up an injury too great to ignore.

Anyways, I'm hoping by some miracle this is all an elaborate mind f**k by Haye and we'll hear the fights back on tomorrow lol..

I agree. All that training and then no paycheck makes for a disappointed fighter. Cancelling a major HBO fight on short notice doesn't help his future leverage either.

Like I say it was all easy when the money was on the table but the more haye thinks about it the more he realises hes done for so he makes up this fake injury!

Nobody knows for sure yet, we haven't been told, but its hardly beyond the realms of possibility that he is injured!
