Klitschko targets Arreola!

IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will fight on June 20th at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. While various heavyweight contenders hope to step in to replace Davis Haye, Wlad has already made it clear that he wants Chris Arreola. “If the fight against David Haye doesn’t take place, I’ll fight against Chris Arreola,” Wlad said on the Alexey Potapov Boxing Diary published on the Russian site Sports.ru.

Despite what Vlad's fans say Chris Arreola has a shot at beating Vlad. Vlad doesn't have the chin or mental toughness that Vitali has. Anyone with a big punch and some killer instinct can get in his ass. Arreola has both of those things. In fact, I would make Vitali a significant favorite over Arreola because of his superiority over his little brother. Chris is doing the right thing for going after the weaker brother first. That may fine tune his skills for Vitali. I've always thought Vitali had a good chin in his prime, but when he was training for his fights in the more injury-prone part of his career I heard he got knocked out by a couple of his sparring partners. It could be that he just hasn't been in with someone to test his chin yet since his fight with Lennox. We need someone to take the handcuffs off the Heavyweight division that the K brothers have on it. War Arreola.

Wlad already beat the **** out of Arreola in sparring. Arreola admitted it in one of his boxingscene video interviews.

Arreola has hired a diet and nutrition fitness coach into camp to begin getting him in solid shape. This had nothing to Wald. This was a derision to get Arreola in the best shape to be in to fight for the title. Its to soon and Im not sure they will be a fill in for Haye. Not with this short notice. Aint gonna happen!
