Nope, I defended Mayweathers position from the start and I'm not even much of a fan of his. I've always maintained it was Marquez' obligation to go up in weight since he's the one that challenged floyd, not the other way around.

He had no problem fighting Oscar at 147, why not fight Shane there too? That's my only problem with all this.

Oscar was a 154 pound fighter. Pacman fighting him at 147 was a "meet me in the middle" type of agreement since Pac was at 130-135. Shane is at 147. Pacquiao is at 140. What is the middle? 143-144.

Not too mention oscar brings in a bout 50 billion more dollars than shane so the risk/reward is much, much different.

That would be ridiculous but we are talking about 3 pounds for shane, not 15.

Pac ain't super human as most pacnuts have claimed lol. If both will agree to weigh-in not more than 152 lbs come fight time it's fair enough. Oscar weighted 147 while Pac was 148 (fight time). Lets get it on!

Because at a certain point your body just wont shed the weight. It even took Shane 2 tries to make weight for his last fight, and he hasnt been anywhere near 144-145 in 10 years.

I dont blame Shane for wanting the payday regardless of the weight issue. I just cant look at this as a credible WW fight, even though the WW title would probably be on the line.

But none of this matters anyways. Unless Arum signs off on it, it aint happening............
