I'm not a big fan of this Catchweight fights, but they offer interesting matchups, this is to me the most intriguing fight we can see in 2009 if it comes to happen. but IMO Pac should go all the way to 147.

Why should it be any different than when he did it vs Oscar, that fight seems to me a bit bogus now that Pacquiao refuses to go all the way up like he so easily did last December.

But anyway it might be, it would be a great fight if it happens.

Then you must also know how ****** it is that they're arguing over two pounds.

Pacquiao wants 145lbs, the bigger share (rightfully so), and the belt?

Cotto wants to fight; he agreed to 145lbs., but not for the belt, just the money. If Pacquiao wants the belt, then he should go up those two pounds, otherwise STFU and fight.

like i said, we'll never know. if pac wants it, who knows? uncle bob might give-in. i think shane is the biggest threat, second is cotto

no contracts are signed yet so everything is still subject to change. i just dont see this fight happening at 147. they might fight for the belt at 145 and thats a bigger possibility than having the fight at 147

You realize Arum losses Cotto if he does that? I bet you don't. You realize Arum gets less money if he does that? I bet you don't. Cotto vs Pacquiao will happen no matter what Pacquiao wants.

Pride runs deep in everyone. What you're saying is true, but the only way I see it is if money is split a little more to Cotto to coerce him from his side.

Pacquiao is really pissing me with inconsistent decisions... No way Mosley will put his belt on line under 147... and he will call himself a linear WW champion if he beat Mosley @ 144? Terrible...!

Fook this steroid abusing stretch marked delusional fool.

Both Pacy and Floyd should act like this man doesn't exist and go on with the Cotto's and Marquez' untill they finally meet.

Check the date of this thread and it don't matter what Pacquiao wants. Cotto vs Pacquiao will happen.
