Well Chagaev just failed a medical and missed a fight so i think it would piss off the Valuev Team if he took this fight. I'm being realistic and do't think this will happen, I mean this fight was 2 and a half weeks away, Valuev is not gonna step in as a late notice replacement. Valuev has spent 5 days since his fight got cancelled eating homeless childen in Finland, it's gonna take him another 6 months to get ready for a fight again, not 2 and a half weeks.
Wladimir is already in discussions today with both Chagaev and Valuev!

Not to me it doesn't. OK, it probably is 'bigger' in the sense that Valuev is better known than Haye (and has the belt, of course), but IMHO this will be one of the most one sided HW fights in history. Which wouldn't so bad if Wlad ends it with an early brutal KO and Valuev falls right through the floor of the ring leaving a boxer shaped hole. Except it will go twelve and we'll all be asleep by halfway.Comment

Valuev is huge in Germany- it doesn't matter if his fights are boring. The Klitschkos are, for lack of a better word, 'huger' than Valuev in Germany. Put them together you get a "hw superfight," or at least a "hw European superfight." The Germans would be all over this...Comment

Maybe in terms of resumé and marqueé value, but in terms of exitement I think I'd pick Haye any day of the week. Nevertheless it would be nice to see Wlad destroy the crude and cumbersome giant.Comment
