Yusaf Mack Calls Out Hopkins, Dawson, Cloud, Erdei

Fresh off his demolition job of former NABO and WBO title challenger DeAndrey Abron, Mack now feels he is ready for anyone in the division. He has now chalked up 5 impressive wins which include 3 by stoppage and now is quickly becoming recognised as one of the top challengers at light heavyweight. On speaking to Yusaf regarding a choice for his next opponent he mentions a few of the top guys out there, Yusaf great win the other night who now do you see yourself fighting next time out. Yusaf Mack, decent fighter, needs to fight shawn george or tavoris cloud before you calling out other champions, who have you fought? Chris henry won that fight. Dibella and crew gave him that victory, that is why Mack was so surprised and happy when he got that gift decision. Mack has good mechanics just fades in the middle rounds and tries to catch a second wind for the stretch. He has decent defense, decent pop, decent movement, i think shwn george will lick him or even tavoris cloud. Not sure why Cloud isn't getting the exposure? He is Good, ****y, can take a punch, can DELIVER one also, i heard his team doesn't have a clue - turned down a spot on the HBO under card for Dawson vs Johnson rematch to fight for IBF strap. Those belts do not mean anything look at the light heavy weight scene as per Mack's explanation - looking at promoters doing payola with the sanctioning bodies, that is what's killing the sport - because bad matchup result from this, because you have 2 parties looking out for their fighter of interest - so the make creampuff mandatories, or approve creampuff voluntary defenses.

Mack's a good fighter skill wise but he seems to have stamina issues.

I've seen him fight a couple of times and in every fight he starts off well then fades late.

        Here's Mack vs Librado Andrade

I agree with Parrish Duke. I had Chirs Henry winning a very close fight over Mack. Neither one of those guys really deserved to win. I may take Mack over Cloud but Shaun George beats both of those guys. Love to see George fight any of those dudes in a FNF main event.

It think Tavoris Cloud would beat Mack but it would be a better and more competitive fight than a match up between Clinton Woods and Tavoris Cloud.

I respectfully disagree with every statment you made in your post. I had Mack winning a close fight over Henry, I would definitely take Cloud over Mack, and both over Shaun George. The Mack I saw Saturday night was easily the best I've EVER seen from the guy. Then again Abron didn't offer a lot up in return. But the combinations and bodywork from Yusaf was some real good stuff, and when he finally did get hit with a good shot, he KO'd Abron within the next 45secs. Cloud is too strong for him over the course of 12 rounds though, and George is too inconsistent and doesn't throw enough. He's the light heavyweight Ishe Smith.

Hey Duke 1st off I am Yusaf 's manager. We did not sign with Dibella till after the Henry Fight. So please get your facts straight.

You are the 1st one that thought he won. Did you hear Brian Kenny after the Decision he said THANK GOD they got it right. I have a tape of the fight and I will email it to you so you can watch. I had it 8 rounds to 4.

Regarding Andrade he was the only one to evewr knock him down and Mack trainned himself for that fight mistake on my part, but when something bad happens there is always something BETTER BEHIND IT. His trainer John Tandy was not with him till I hired him on 12-12-07.

Mack has worked so hard to get better and better with Tandy. He is getting better and better. ERDI could not even finish Abron. Remember Glen Johnson lost to some guys he should of beaten. Yusaf is a different fighter now and I hope that you will be a FAN soon. If you are in the area for his next fight you and a friend can be my guests.

                    Barron
