Sprott Hired as Wladimir Klitschko's Sparring Partner

Perennial British heavyweight contender Michael Sprott has recently been brought in as a sparring partner for IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. Sprott arrived in Kitzbuhel, Austria a few days ago and he has joined the final stages of the Klitschko training camp at the Hotel Stanglwirt. [details]

They don't fight anything alike, interesting choice. Maybe Sprott can mimick Haye a little.

Sprott is a vetran of british boxing, he's now 34 years of age. And has fought some of the best UK has had to offer over the years in the Heavyweight ranks.

He carries a 44 fight record with 31 wins 6 KO's and 13 losses. He hold wins over Pele Reid, Mark Potter, Danny Williams, Cengiz Koc, and Audley Harrison. He has also beein in the ring with the likes of Ruslan Chagaev, Vladimir Virchis, and Paolo Vidoz.

He is a former EU (European Union) heavyweight champion aswell as a former British Champion. He was recently beaten on points by former world champion Lamon Brewster in Germany.

But to be honest him and Haye dont do much alike, Haye is much faster, punchers alot harder and is much more skilled than Sprott. But I can Imagine Sprott will give Wlad some hard rounds and make him work.

So according to the article, he's been hired because Steward is worried by the looks Haye has been giving Wlad? Maybe it's to prepare Wlad for the stare-down during the referee's instructions. Instead of a normal sparring session, Sprott's job will just be to stare at Wlad in a threatening way, while wearing that T-shirt.

Just let Wlad wear a diper/nappie, so he can **** himself and not worry about it showing in the stare off.

                  Sprott is another donkey.

lol, But Wlad has fought alot of Black boxers, So i dont get the staredown part, Its not like he has never seen a black boxer before staring at him.

I think they just want a british face in the camp just to get a bit of an inside background into the way they do things.
