Darchinyan Looks To Make History, Eyes More Belts

Undisputed super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan is looking to make boxing history by continuing to move up in weight and win titles. He became the first man to unify the super flyweight division and now he wants to win all of the titles at bantamweight. His first test will come on July 11 against IBF puncher Joseph Agbeko. After Agebko, he wants more titles, whether it be at bantamweight or at a higher weight. [details]

    Darch-Agbeko could be a FOTY candidate. I can't wait.

that will be a real good fight. darchinyan is like the little darth vader of the lower weight classes. maybe he can get his shot at donair as well for redemption. nonair is pretty dangerous though.

Why not fight Hozumi huh? A guy who has held the title since 05 and has 8 consecutive title defenses. Compiling 1st and 2nd round KOs in his last couple of fights.

Sounds like a better match up if you ask me. Then again... who wants to run head first into a loss?

funny how vic can talk about being great when he can't mention donaire's name.
that tko lost to donaire is the stigma he needs to redeem to be considered as a great boxer.

i seriously doubt he can redeem himself though......
donaire will be better than vic down history lane !

I thought Vic wanted the rematch...Didn't Donaire start running into managment trouble? At that point Vic moved on.

I'm I wrong in that thinking?
