    whos style do you emulate?

Being almost 6,2 and about 200lbs, what boxing style should you look at that would be a good role model as far as how they punch, carry themselves, etc.........I realize everyone is an individual and should be unique in that respect but I wondered if many of the experienced guys on here have tried to practice, spar, compete........while having punching influences or style from one of the great fighters?

It is funny since I am a tyson fan I have become accustomed to peekaboo style of holding my hands and started sparring with a friend a bit. As I hit the bag and practiced, I tried to emulate tysons style but that is just not fitting for my body.......I am much quicker with less body in the shots I take.....they actually crack the bag.........seems like ali was more of an arms type fighter than tyson.

Anyway, just curious if you had influences and who they were.

Manuel Marquez would be a good one, or just try the the one your gym is learning.
Nothing more statisfying then countering the shots your opponent tries.

Back in my day I was an Ali/Holmes clone, or atleast I tried to be before I tore my rotator cuff.
