The guy builds himself up so much based on his never losing fact. Yet he's dodged all the fighters the people want him to face. Now what if he loses and has yet to fight these fighters the people want him to? Will a great amount of his stock drop considering it's only mostly him calling himself great whereas the people that know boxing know he's mostly full of ****. I think if Floyd loses his "0" he's no more of a greater fighter than someone like Cotto or Shane. Heck, Shane should be ranked higher because he's faced waaay better comp and wasn't afraid to challenge the best regardless of losing. If Floyd loses you can say he was a great defensive fighter, but that's it. Cotto loses, you can say he's a great body puncher. Stuff like that. But they didn't do EVERYTHING great. Neither does Floyd.
Where does Mayweather stand if he loses his "0" ?

Even if floyd was to lose his 0 he still has a very good resume and a great set of accomplishments to fall back on. It might tarnish his image somewhat but it doesn't diminish his past wins. Being undefeated remains highly overrated.Comment

no it wont...................why you so insecure about pacs resume anyway...................Comment

I kinda wish he had gotten a loss on his record early so that he would me more apt to fight riskier fights. I feel he is an incredibly talented fighter, just one who isnt willing to take a risk.Comment

The thread starter and alot of people on these boards are trying to act ike Pac's resume is miles over Floyd's and its not but everyone hates him so much that it will be seen that way. The media and fans always severly overrate non black or non black looking fighters while underrating the black or black looking fighters. EM gets shutout by Raheem and no one cares but then Pac fights him while coming into the ring weighing 147 pounds for a 130 pound fight and he knocks out EM while physicaly making him look like a boy and everyone goes crazy. Bad enough they had a 3rd fight which no one in the media protested against and again what happened? Pac is a huge monster again and he gets mad credit for that win even though anyone with eyes could tell that EM was shot. He beat so many guys coming off a recent loss and no one cares but when Floyd does it they will rip him non stop. You think Floyd would have problems fighting guys if he came into the ring with a massive weight advantage like Pac was doing? Do you think he would have problems fighting guys if he came into the ring with an even weight as his opponent as Pac is doing now? Its the same thing with JMM. I cant beleive how everyone overlooks that. Its the #1 thing in boxing and changes everything. Do you think Floyd would honestly worry about a Cotto or Mosley if he came into the ring at 157 pounds and looked very healthy at it? No but he doesnt. He fought Zab at WW and came into the ring at 146 when Pac was 147 against EM at 130. You guys honestly think that is no factor in who guys fight? SeriouslyComment

if the pbf lost he would be on psych meds. he is fragile mentally, and his ego could never handle losing.Comment
