I'm saying no name's or nothing else, but I know someone who sells that card, sets it up and sells it all for 150 around my town. Oxnard, California. I know someone who has it and it works great now. He saw the May 2 Hatton vs Pac fight without disturbances. I usually get to watch all the Mexico TV fights when I have no stream at his house.

A black box is nice as long as it works.

Are there any channels you need to have? Both services carry ESPN2, Versus, HBO and Showtime, all in HD if you want (I need all of those for boxing obviouslly). I prefer Directv because they carry MLB Network which Dish Network doesn't. Besides MLB Network, out-of-market sports (Directv has NFL Sunday Ticket and MLB Extra Innings, which Dish doesn't), and differences in their HD line-ups there isn't any major differences between the 2...

My friend has some bootleg dishnetwork box and he gets all the channels and ****. i go to his house to see the fights on ppv.
but yea u dont need a card. u just buy a box and load a program on it via your computer. and whenever they scramble the channels u just wait till a new program is out and repeat the process. well thats my understanding of how it works. not 100% positive though.

HBO is about the only one i need and maybe a few other movie channells. Comcast is overpriced. So it's between DishNetwork and Direct TV.

I heard Diret TV has HD in every package so that's a plus.
