Yeah, in fairness, I didn't read the article - I only click on the essential links, still haven't gotten round to blocking all that irritating yelling smiley **** yet.
Kell Brook said his dream would be to share a ring with Mayweather, too. Fair enough.
Khan does come out with some bonkers ****, though.Comment

For years and years (ever since the man turned professional) I have been saying that he is as pompous and arrogant as any fighter in history.
Two years ago he said he was the greatest fighter in the world!Comment

I think the media and the people just blow it out of a proportion to make a story and fuel other people to hate on him even more then he is already hated lol...Yeah, in fairness, I didn't read the article - I only click on the essential links, still haven't gotten round to blocking all that irritating yelling smiley **** yet.

Khan was always intended to be loved by Joe Public, I thought. But even without all the spin, it was obvious his head really was off in space for a while there. LOL
I like the lad, though. And if he beats Kotelnik, he really will have improved from where he was last September. I don't see that being as soft a fight as many think.Comment

Khan's delusions weren't really anything to do with 'ambition'. It's not really a knock - when you're subject to the kind of fawning he was, it's hard not to be lifted off with it. The remarks about retiring aged 26 as a multi-weight world champ with everything accomplished were a bit too specific and projected to be taken for the simple hopes and dreams of an up and coming prospect.
He needed a bit of an alarm buzz, and he got it without being ruined. Let's see what he does now.Comment
