He turned professional he is 25-0 and holds a WBC belt I say he accomplished more than most fighters already. He defintely amounted to something even if his carrer ended tomorrow. Now maybe he wont live up to the hype and the comparision of the critics. i mean they are comparing this guy to Sugar Ray Leonard and Meldrik Taylor. SRL being one of the ATG in boxing and Taylor was a phenom who many think handed Chavez his first loss. So to say he will never amount to anything is incorrect to say he wont live up to the hype might be more accurate...Lefty

Yea I agree. BUT he is getting better and better each fight. he did get schooled by Collazo in certain aspects but showed definitive heart.

I think he needs to fight more adverse tough competition, I would like to see him up against Judah and we will see if hes ready

Its not so much Wiliams fault,to be fair its that every fihter is afraid to fight him. Berto cant use that excuse

Now heart is what he does have along with his speed and reflexes...he pulled out some **** late in that Collazo fight..but still looked like an amtuer and was soundly schooled by a fighter who barely fights in Colazo....

Judah beats his ass....Berto isnt a pressure fighter....Judah would have no problems timing him and laoding that left hand on his chaky chin....

You missed the point I wasn't comparing Paul to Berto I was being harsh as you were saying that Berto has accomplished nothing. He has accomplished alot for a fighter he holds a belt and has deffended it. All that said his level of competition is hardly bums. I do not think COllazo and urango are bums. Collazo was a WW belt holder and would give anyone at 147 trouble. Urango does hold a belt at 140 and only had 1 prior loss to Hatton. Urango is hardly a bum my friend. Verno Phillips and Andy Kolle are lesser fighters then Urango and Collazo. You would agree sir? I think Collazo at this point is a better win then Winky coming off a 2 year lay off no? Williams is an unproven talent in my book. he may be avoided but still unproven as Berto. Maybe for differrent reasons but all the same...lefty
