This roster is complete ****, and even though its too late, I hope for next version (hopefully next year) that they follow something like this:
1. Get a bunch of up and coming fighters who haven't establish superstar status and guys who arent in big money fights. These are the guys that wouldn't cost **** and would probably like the exposure. Could Easily get 20-30 guys.
2. Have era fighters. E.g. 90's era, 80's era, 70's era, 60'era etc. Just use a few big name fighter from these time, label them that in the game(e.g. 90's Trinidad) so your acknowledging their place in history. Since up until recently boxers are just now starting to eat, most of these guys wouldn't cost a lot. Hell they would probably just be happy with some extra money and the fact their legacy would still be carried on to the younger generation.
3. With the big names in boxing...this is where they would probably have to come out of pocket. I say released these guys as D/L content, give them a percentage of the sales, and do so around the times they are about to have big time fights. Releasing them for D/L around their fights benefits both parties because A) the fighter gets more attention brought to their fight B) EA can capitalize off the fighters buzz leading up to their fight. With the percentage system boxers can earn some extra money, while ea doesnt have to come up with a lot of money upfront to get guys like Mayweather onboard
