This is the Format that FNR4 should have used as far as getting a better roster

This roster is complete ****, and even though its too late, I hope for next version (hopefully next year) that they follow something like this:

    1. Get a bunch of up and coming fighters who haven't establish superstar status and guys who arent in big money fights. These are the guys that wouldn't cost **** and would probably like the exposure. Could Easily get 20-30 guys.

    2. Have era fighters. E.g. 90's era, 80's era, 70's era, 60'era etc. Just use a few big name fighter from these time, label them that in the game(e.g. 90's Trinidad) so your acknowledging their place in history. Since up until recently boxers are just now starting to eat, most of these guys wouldn't cost a lot. Hell they would probably just be happy with some extra money and the fact their legacy would still be carried on to the younger generation.

    3. With the big names in boxing...this is where they would probably have to come out of pocket. I say released these guys as D/L content, give them a percentage of the sales, and do so around the times they are about to have big time fights. Releasing them for D/L around their fights benefits both parties because A) the fighter gets more attention brought to their fight B) EA can capitalize off the fighters buzz leading up to their fight. With the percentage system boxers can earn some extra money, while ea doesnt have to come up with a lot of money upfront to get guys like Mayweather onboard

in all honesty, these guys have made about 6 or 7 boxing games, i think they know what they are doing and what their limits are.

Here is an example of the D/L system I was talking about.
First they dont have to pay a ****load up front and offer a certain percentage of revenue for download....lets say 50/50 split.

Then just release them b4 upcomming big time bouts. Here is an example:
(BTW since no one knows of any big time fights this fall Ill use this summer as an example)

June 13th (PPV fight w/ Clottey)
      Cotto Download

      June 20th
      Wlad download
      Haye download

      July 18th (PPV fight w/Marquez
      Mayweather Dowload

      Sept 5th (PPV TBA)
      Pavlik Download

      Oct 17 (PPV TBA)
      Pacquiao Download

This way they can still keep the game's buzz, low risk since most of the big name boxers money will come from D/L revenue instead of EA's pockets, and also they could maximize the download content by spreading them out and capatilzing off upcomming fights.

True True...but EA is just lazy. They have the money to actually get alot of these guys. Hell they could easily get 50 guys for little (recognizable names that would help the game sell) or nothing then use the D/L content to get the big names.

Most of the best boxers either didnt make much money fighter and also would probably be willing to have their name in a game. Only guys I could think of that would be problems would be Floyd & De La Hoya.

complain all you want but it's the best roster out of any fight night game. Sure, there are some gay names like billy dib and mundine, but overall it's great. mike tyson, tommy hearns, pernell whitaker, etc.

plus with game face and the ability to share CAB's its going to be very easy to recreate the fighters missing from the official list.

Although expensive the dl content idea is good and would keep the game alot fresher than having every boxer readily available

Gameface will be great on this. I have used it on Tiger woods to make myself it looks exactly like me. You will be able to create anybody there.
