People don't know how good this fight is gonna be. Mayweather has never taken a year+ long layoff and Marquez can box, if he can time and counter Pacquiao, he can do the same to Floyd. Marquez will make this fight more competitive than the last 4 HBO ppv's.

Just because I won't buy it doesn't mean I don't care about it. A fight is a fight. If there's boxing on I will watch. Doesn't matter if it's a 4 rounder with two unknown fighters on Fox Sports en Español or a 12 round championship super fight I will watch

Mayweather is a much better defensive fighter than Pacquiao so I don't know about that.

Timing and countering an opponent has little to do with defense and everything to do with offense. Pacquiao is a master at throwing off people's timing and throwing punches out of rhythm (that's how he beat Barrera so easy) and Marquez was catching him. Mayweather is a master at the same, but he does it in a different way, either way Marquez will catch him and make it a good fight.

JMM is winning at least 3 maybe 4 rounds.

So you base my fighter preference on my sig and avatar. Pac's on my sig because I thought what he did was historic and Hatton is my avatar because I thought that image was funny. Why don't you read all my posts and see if I'm biased towards any fighters, at all.

I didn't say Marquez would put a hurtin' on Mayweather, hugger. Show me where I said that. I'm talking about how PBF would try to take the low risk/high reward route and not engage JMM in a toe to toe because there is a chance JMM might get lucky. Thus, PBF will make this a boring boxing match.

Why don't you read the rest of the post, I even picked PBF to win and knock JMM at least once. Now stop drinking the koolaid.
