Exactly, Arum has said virtually exactly the same as Floyd has said yet he gets the blame, double standards.

what if its other way 'round?say Mayweather is trying to price themselves out of the fight cuz they know they might lose.

This fight and happening anytime soon. Roach has done said that 40/60 for Foyd ant happening. Which I think is right. Manny's the big draw right now, and he's a lot more exciting fighter to watch then Floyd (IMO).

50-50 is a fair deal. Neither should get 60/40 IMO.

Even though Mayweather is on deck. I dont believe he should get the bigger share. Period.
Mayweather vs De La Hoya made 2.4 million buys, Pacquiao vs De La Hoya made 1.25 million buys... Mayweather vs Hatton made 900k buys +, Pacquiao vs Hatton made 800k buys +, the numbers don't lie...

If we was just taking that into account you would sway towards Mayweather, however.. due to the fight being bigger than any other and the fact that the fans want it should Floyd beat JMM convincingly, also Manny beating De La Hoya and Hatton more convincingly, having a big fan base, the fact that he is P4P #1 (Pacquiao), and it is a fight they both will earn the most money with... it evens it out.

You could bare in mind that Mayweather is very popular, Wrestlemania, Dancing with the stars, AT&T adverts (whatever you wanna call it), the fact his name was used in every fight when he was retired... the amount his name was used whilst he was retired, how anticipated his return was and thread after thread being made about him... the fight should be 50/50, 60/40 is negotiations.

Anyway, he has gotta get through JMM first who is a great fighter in his own right.

To be fair I don't care what the split is... as long as the fight happens if he beats JMM convincingly, its a fight I wanna see... I am just saying 50/50 is fair. At the end of the day, they can't just blame Floyd for saying something when Arum practically said the same thing.

                  The Mayweather blame game continues.

Pac's people were the first to come out with demands to the Public on what they would or would not take, Arum first said 65/35 and 60/40. Mayweather then responded with what he has said in the past week.

I don't see why it can't be 50/50. They are both gunna make bank regardless. They wanna act like one is a bigger draw than the other. It's going to be a big fight regardless of who has the bigger draw. They'll find out who is better and more worth the lion's share after the fight is finished and who's ever arm is raised.
