Top 5 heavyweights are from the former USSR

    1. Wladimir
    2. Vitali
    3. Chagaev
    4. Povetkin
    5. Valuev

    ...according to the Ring (http://www.ringtv.com/ratings/heavyweight/)

There are 3 Americans in the top 10, Chambers, Arreola, and Ruiz. Only Arreola has much of a chance and is he even American? We need some new blood.

arreola really is american. i still think chambers has the best chance, even though he fights like he'd rather be doing something else.

Valuev doesn't belong there, but I would include Dimitrenko.

Deontay Wilder and Tor Hamer have the potential to be there in a couple of years.

lol, why do we care if they are from the now defunct USSR? They wouldn't even call themselves Soviets or Russians.

No, Chambers does have more power than people believe. Look at his record, he's stopped a lot of people.

Kevin Johnson has less power than Chambers, as does Jason Estrada.

The cold war ended 20 years ago, everywhere except in Teddy Atlas' mind.

Arreola would beat the bottom 3 of the top 5 and I'd give him a good shot at pulling the upset against Wlad. His management is horrible though, they're going after the best heavyweight out way too early.
