Angulo looked like he had the Swine Flu last night and...

In only his 16th pro fight, still deserved a Draw against former World Champion, Kermit Cintron, who happened to walk into the ring last night at Light Heavyweight. Cintron was 15 pounds over Jr Middle last night and Alfredo still almost made him cry in the 12th round.

The ref should have taken a point away from Cintron for excessive ***** holding, which would have made Angulo the deserving winner of the fight by one point. And if, Cintron wasn't allowed to do all that ***** holding in the last few rounds, Angulo would have stopped him.

Angulo won the 2nd and 5th and swept the last 4 rounds. He deserved a Draw last night.

If Kermit was sick, I'm sure he would have pulled out of the fight. Props to Angulo for coming to fight, regardless of how he felt, making no excuses and taking the fight straight to Light Heavyweight, Kermit Cintron.

A healthy Perro makes Kermit cry.

I've never seen so many excuses for one night in my life.

I don't know why you are so quick to defend this dude... a guy who deserves a draw against Cintron isn't going anywhere in the sport anyway.

Perhaps you should pick a new prospect to get wet over.

give it a rest, he fought like he always does, no boxing, straight forward,
if cintron hadent beaten him, someone else would have,
martinez would have one every round against angulo.

and angulo didnt do enough to get a draw.

Thanks bro. Dirrell is badass. I really hope his chin isn't as bad as some people think... otherwise I might get a bit of karma when Dirrell gets beaten by a mid level fighter like Cintron.

Martinez's stock went up last night IMO... He looked great against Cintron and then Cintron proved that he isn't completely damaged goods at this point.

I'd really like to see Martinez get down with Paul Williams or Sergei D at some point in the near future.

He loses to Williams imo, Margarito sort of showed that pressure and a high workrate beats Martinez and that is Williams all over except with more boxing skills.

I haven't seen a single Sergei fight so i can't comment on that one.

Regarding the Matrix i haven't seen any of his fights.

You should hook me up with some if you know any links.

Give Cintron some credit, he went in there and boxed great for most of the fight, he faded at the end a bit but he clearly won. Everyone was talking about how Angulo was going to make Kermit cry and he got schooled. Give Cintron the respect he deserves for proving everyone wrong last night. He looked sharp for the majority of the fight and was in control.

Funny thing about this fight is that I scored it a draw going by rounds but at the same time as an entire fight thought Cintron was clearly the winner. I gave Angulo rounds 2,5,8,9,10 and 12. Cintron won the rounds I gave him by a much bigger margin where I thought Angulo just edged his rounds out.

I didn't give angulo a round until 5 or 6. I thought cintron dominated the first half of the fight.
