Floyd: "The gloves Delahoya gave me were pillows"

So he was pretty much saying he could have knocked out delahoya or made him quit like Pacquiao if he had gotten to wear 8oz gloves.

Whatever happened to Floyd's brittle hands??? When he retired he cited his brittle hands as one of the main reasons for him retiring but now he talks about the gloves he wore against delahoya were pillows.

    Which is it really??

He was wearing pillows against Judah, I remember him crying about his brittle little hands and this was one of the reasons the sissy claims he retired. You talk about some one contradicting themselves? Floyd is the king of lies and controversy

His hands are brittle but he can hit at full power for a certain amount of rounds. He cracked Augustus and Baldomir with mean right hands, then all of a sudden he stopped throwing it

Same thing happend against Chop Chop, Corely looked at Floyd as if to say, "Those weren't the right hands I was tasting earlier" Then Floyd started throwing hard right hands after a while.

          Its proably both.

He does have brittle hands and he does often request winnie or wining whatever they are called gloves for his fights and he dosent recieve them.

From whathe says he can punch harder with those type of gloves and that is the resaon why his opponents try to pevent him from wearing them.

I remember RJJ always having a hard on for a certain type of gloves. I guess some fighters like certain gloves than others based on perks?

I wonder if Floyd even believes his own BS.

That's why he wanted to wear Winnings gloves against De La Hoya, when DLH forced him to wear reyes 10 oz gloves, which are the manditory size for every fight above 147lbs in America? Next.

Cloeto Reyes gloves are puncher's gloves. 8oz winning gloves have more padding than 10oz reyes gloves. They are not pillows at all. Mayweather specifically called the gloves he used against delahoya "Pillows"

That's exactly what I'm saying. It's manditory that 154+ fighters wear 10 ounce gloves, and for Floyd to call the reyes ones pillows while he wanted to wear the Winnings of the same size is ridiculous.

lol Someone needs to tell Floyd no matter what gloves he had, he wasn't gonna KO, let alone hurt Oscar. I know the whole Floyd movement got GUBAR'd after the Hatton fight, but Hatton gets shaken up after any flush contact on his chin. Floyd knew that before hand, which is why he chose Hatton over Miguel to begin with.

                    (GUBAR'd = G.assed U.p B.eyond A.ny R.ecognition)
