    Berto has horrible inside fighting

I think he needs a new trainer, it was obvious against Collazo he was a fish out of water on the inside. Now it looks like his trainer is teaching him to just hold, *** that. He needs to get a new trainer asap, this fight was pretty uninspiring and he ain't going to get no big fights with this kind of performance.

I'd argue that he has no inside fighting ability at all.

It seems his strategy was to hold some. You could hear his trainers telling him to hold, but not for too long. He is so much quicker than Urango that I don't really think that holding was necessary. Plus it seemed like he was pot shoting more instead of releasing his lighting quick combos. The one thing I did like was his movement around the ring, usually sometimes he gets flat footed and squared up to his opponent and tonight he didn't do that. Led to less excitement, but it's good to see him improving. Maybe the next fight will be more exciting and he can make more of a statement.

agreed....his footwork is terrible too, he cant go in and out properly, so he just goes in and hugs.....(being fast is not the same as having good footwork before some idiot responds..)

After losing to Collazo he fought a safe fight tonight and holding was a big part of the plan.

i would've liked to see him fight on the inside tonight, but he chose to hold instead, which is fine, but it isnt going to prepare him for guys who wont allow that holding to happen. also, if the ref had done his job, it would've been a tougher fight for him and evened the playing field a bit. i'm not saying that bertos holding was the only way he could've won the fight, that is far from what i'm saying, he had urango beat all night long, the holding was totally unnecessary for his skill set and his talent advantages.
