This is not how you fight to make the top elite guys wanna fight you. If Berto was on a PPV bout I WOULDNT buy it. I seen his past fights. He fought bums and looked good. NO CREDIT. Personally I think Collozo beat him.
You dont run and hold this much to stay safe and hope fans will want to see you again. Its bull****. Its one of the reasons people dont like Mayweather. To much Defense.
I'll agree his performance wasn't a dynamic one for sure and I can see people being upset, but it's one fight. I felt like he looked good in most of his other fights and I felt the Collazo fight was close and he got the win so you can say Collazo won that's fine, but the reality is Berto got the "W" for that fight.

As for fighting at a championship level we really don't know how Berto's gonna react or perform in one of those fights because we haven't seen him in one yet. So the jury is still out for me if he can or not fight at a championship level. The PPV part I really don't care about and he's still far away from being in that league. Im just saying it's too early to make definitive judgements on him yet. I mean the guy just won a lopsided fight where he made the guy he was fighting look amatuer. Urango couldn't do anything.

A few more fights like this and yeah I would call him boring, but he's not as bad as some of you are making it sound. I mean he still won the fight.
yea he won but who actually thought he was going to lose? i thought this was going to be a beat down for urango but instead it was just an un impressive win for berto against a jww

Yeah it was unimpressive im not doubting that. I was dissapointed because he was just so much better than Urango in everything that I thought he didn't need to hold at all. It's just that after one fight where he pretty much dominates the fight albeit in not so enertaining fashion people all over him for it. If he had fought like this consistently than I can understand, but I feel he hasn't. Next fight he could look tremendous and then everybody would be in love with him again. People just over analyze one fight too much.

This was a championship fight. Urango couldnt do nothing because he was holding and running. Granted when Urango had the chance he didnt do nothing. Urango is no prize

berto since becoming a champion at ww has fought steve forbes a small jww and did look good but should of looked better, fought collazo to a contraversial decision then has an unimpressive victory against a jww that should of made berto look like the best fighter in the world but instead it makes alot of people assume that berto is kinda overrated

That's an arguement that can be made that Berto is overrated. I personally don't think he would beat any of the upper echelon guys in the WW division. Im just saying that people are possibly jumping to conclusions too quickly here. Once he gets that big fight then all questions will be answered unless he gets derailed before he gets that chance.
