lol roy, not even close........floyd in his prime "won" a controversial d..........even when jones looked subpar, he had that power to erase his mistakes, like against griffin......floyd didnt have that.........

uh floyd and rjj fought nothing alike.

floyd is textbook. rjj is unorthodox.

      back to the subject:

I think rjj is tougher to beat in his prime; because of his speed and power.

Floyd does have more power than he is given credit for... he actually wobbled De La Hoya slightly a couple of times at 154... which is really impressive to me.

His 2 KOs at 147 were definitely against 140 pounders coming up though, so I do think that probably takes a little bit of that away.

I really do wonder if Judah would have gotten KO'd without the low blow rabbit punch incident. That would be a fairly telling sign of his power at 147.

I think what makes it difficult question to answer is that neither of them of them fulfilled their talent in their primes IMO.

I think their are too many unanswered questions about both of them in their prime against the best of the best.

Mayweather in his prime from 130, 135 was the whole package, he was way too fundamentally sound to make simple mistakes. Roy had flaws in his basic skills, but he made up with his athleticism and speed. That's not the case with Mayweather who could fight in a conventional stance or the shoulder roll stance. I remember when Tony Pep fought Mayweather, Pep could barley land on Mayweather, and Pep was a very good boxer.
