What can JMM have to beat Floyd?

Marquez isn't a pressure fighter and I don't think he'll be very effective in countering Floyd's pot shots.

Do you think Marquez can actually make the adjustment to pressure Floyd?

If he can't what chance does Marquez have? A punchers chance at best I think.

    What do you guys think?

Since JMM is a master at adjusted to his opponent ,I Think he will find a way to break through mayweather defense and therefore scored alot of hard shots in. JMM is accurate with his punches just like Mayweather is. So i think Mayweather chin could be tested if those 8 pounds more are pure muscle for JMM he will have some pop to his punches

Marquez has already said that he's going there to fight, and that if Floyd doesn't want to engage he will take the fight to him. With that said, Baldomir-Mayweather II, But Floyd with a healed right hand this time.

If Mayweather is the bigger and stronger guy...JMM will have a slight chance.

If JMM put his weight on well with good muscle strength and his speed isnt shadowed that much and can match Mayweather in that department ,he will figure out real quick what he needs to do to get to Floyd.

Honestly this fight should be happening at 140 and thats that!

Nah. Marquez is better technically and in the speed department aswell. THe difference is that Baldomir had a better chin.

Well pressure is one of the keys to beating Floyd...So is speed. Look at the De La Hoya fight and the Castillo fight.

I don't know if Marquez has either.

here's some things that JMM can do that can help him score.

1.) floyd occasionally after throwing a jab will bring his arm back a little high, with elbow out, which leaves the left side of his body exposed, if JMM can notice this in the fight, then he could get some points by useing a right hook to the body.

2.) and there is only one probblem with floyds shoulder roll, that he leave's parts of his bodey open, but its quick.

JMM will have to be very aware, and be able to act on these things quick if he wants to land, but JMM is in for the hardest fight of his life.
