Obar Carr and he got KOed by DLH. Hernandez was a big fight for him, people were thinking he wasn't ready and proved them wrong. Same **** with Ruelas.
imo dlh/chavez II should of never happened. I think quartey won that fight. i dont think hernandez was such a big fight. but thats just my 2 cents.

But it did. Who got the W and who got the L?? Hernandez was a big fight but not like a Mayweather/Trinidad type of fight.

I enjoy the fact that some people believe DLH's career started at Welterweight, and ignore all the meaningful wins he had below 147.

and how can you say he lost all his big fights when he beat Vargas and Trinidad, and arguably beat Quartey and Whitaker as well. I had him beating Quartey by 1 point, and had the Whitaker fight a draw.
the Chavez fights you shouldnt really count...Chavez was WAY past prime by then. but he was still top ten material, so you need to give DLH some credit all the same.

people that say that DLH lost all his big fights are just blind about the rest of his career, and use that overused generic statement to cover up the fact that they dont know much about his opponents.

...anyways, Berto should be criticised for not giving Collazo an immediate rematch, but the Urango fight isnt that bad. its going to be a real entertaining scrap, and its not like Berto could get fights with Cotto or Mosley at this point.(I believe he said he wanted fights with either of them)

1st off Berto is not one of the greats fighting and he doesnt talk like it either, he hasn't called out floyd or mosley or pac like evryone else. He is fighting a Jr welter which is only like 3 or 5 pounds difference which is nothing for fighters at his age! Urango only lost to Hatton which is respectable!

Imagine how much **** Floyd would get if he did something like that.. This fight never made sense to me. Out of all the people at welter Berto could have fought? Wasnt Berto calling out Paul WIlliams? Then backed down like a hoe when Paul accepted the challenge? LOL

The ABC belts these days don't mean anything as most boxing fans know who the real champions are in each division. I still see Berto as a young lion making his way through the ranks, but who probably has people paying the sanctioning fees so he can hold the strap as a visible trophy when coming to the ring. If the belts made any significance over fighting the top fighters I'm sure Clottey would've made a case about keeping his IBF belt.
